Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
2 Timothy 4:5
But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
St. Paul, in closing his second and final letter to Timothy, makes it clear that he’s counting on Timothy. He warns him to, “Keep Your Head.” Then he tells him to make full use of every gift the Lord has given him, in order to get the gospel out.
Never lose sight of the fact that where God guides you, He will provide for you. There have been times in my life when I was ready to jump off a bridge, so to speak, but then by the grace of God, and knowing this verse, I would drill down deeper inside of me. Somehow, God helped me every time to … “Keep My Head.” It doesn’t help when people in leadership “Lose it!” Only when you trust God to “Keep Your Head” in all situations can you completely empty yourself on a regular basis of all the gifts God has given you. When you faithfully discharge those gifts to others, God instantly replenishes your tank. I’m telling you, in a mystical way there’s always more than enough. But, always … “Keep Your Head!”
I believe that one more time today, You will once again help me to “Keep My Head!” Amen
