Keep Strengthening And Encouraging!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Acts 14:21b-22a

Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.

Earlier in this chapter, St. Paul had been stoned and left for dead by ruffians in Lystra. Miraculously he recovered and continued preaching. Before he and Barnabas finished their first missionary journey, they returned through the same city where he was almost killed. They strengthened and encouraged the disciples there to remain true to the faith.

No matter what takes place in our walk with Jesus, we must never give up. We must push through trials, tribulations, and hardships in our personal hour of need. In those tough times, you and I must each decide to be the one who strengthens and encourages others. It is easiest to just walk away when trials come, but to those of us who press through there is a crown of life awaiting us. I know nothing else but to stay true to the mission God has called us to. That means that we’ll, “Keep Strengthening And Encouraging Others!”

Dear Jesus,

With all of my heart this AM I promise You that the mission is ever before me. Whatever You call me to, I’m ready and eager to fulfill the call. Amen
