Just Do Your Best And Let God Take Care Of The Rest

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Chronicles 19:13

Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.

O-bservation:

Israel was fighting one of its biggest battles ever, and before they went to war, the leader of King David’s troops, Joab, made this great statement. He said, “Just Do Your Best, And Let God Take Care Of The Rest.”

A-pplication:

How many times in your life can you recall when you were really up against a challenge that was bigger than you or certainly equal to you? Immediately, I can think of the time our baby boy Graham, only six months old, was battling for his life with spinal meningitis. We sat for six days as the little guy lay in a coma. The doctors told us that if he lived, he would be a vegetable. All we could do was PRAY and provide him with the best medical intervention there was in the city we lived in. God took care of the rest. Graham has some limitations today but (at this writing) he is 33 years of age and is our miracle! If I want to include personal physical miracles, there were several times when the doctors said I might not make it, but here I am. When you’re up against a seemingly insurmountable foe and can’t get out of it, the word of the Lord to you today is simply, “Just Do Your Best And Let God Take Care Of The Rest.”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I am forever committed to You. You know what lies ahead for me. So from this point on, I will “Just Do My Best And Let You Take Care Of The Rest!” Amen
