Jesus And Me
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Revelation 12:11a
They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
O-bservation:
John saw in his vision a group of people, known as the Christian martyrs, who had laid down their life for the Lord. In this passage, he said that they, meaning the martyrs, and we, meaning those of us who are still alive, have overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb (Christ’s sacrifice) and our testimony of His good news.
A-pplication:
Throughout Christian history, our victory, both personally and that of the universal Christian faith over the past more than 2,000 years, has always been about “Jesus And Me.” In other words, that ME could have been any one of the first Apostles or the first century Christians or any one of the MEs who have lived through history as a “Follower of Jesus.” For the Christian church to have moved forward these many years, it’s taken the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for our redemption, and then it’s taken a person like you or me to testify of His redemption in our life. Sometimes we die for our testimony, but most of the time, we have lived to continue testifying of His great love. As you and I look forward to a New Year together, let’s do it with the profound sense that it’s always going to be, “Jesus And Me.”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I can never STOP testifying of your great love for me. If I keep what you’ve done for me to myself, it would be as though I had nullified Your ultimate sacrifice. With Your help, I will not do that. I will testify about “Jesus And Me!” Amen
