It’s NOT In Vain

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 15:58

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

O-bservation:

St. Paul had just finished writing a resounding, victorious, and triumphant treatise on the resurrection and the fact that Jesus has won the victory. He concluded this chapter with an encouragement to all “Followers Of Jesus” to carry on valiantly, because when speaking of our labor for the Lord, Paul said, “It’s NOT In Vain.”

A-pplication:

I want to encourage you this AM. I doubt that you’d be reading this if you weren’t a believer in Jesus. Here’s what I’ve learned about real Jesus followers. Usually, they are very humble. Also, they are great volunteers. Not only that, but they are so generous with their time, talents, and treasure. Maybe that’s who you are, but no one has taken the time to thank you. That’s what I want to do this AM. I just want to say thank you for who you are and what you’ve done for the Lord. Oh, I know, sometimes you probably wondered if anyone cares, or notices, or if even the Lord knows who you are. Let me answer that this way. Yes! Yes! And YES!! For all the times you’ve gone the extra mile. For all those times, when you were the only one to raise your hand to say, “I’ll Help!” For the time no one showed up but you. God knew then, and He certainly has not forgotten. So, just when you thought maybe your labor for the Lord has gone unnoticed, I want to say to you this AM, “It’s NOT In Vain!”

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I want to thank You for putting me in touch with one of Your best servants this AM. I’m praying that this short Devo has been a blessing to them today. Please let them feel Your special touch before the day is over. Amen
