HONOR Is The Way To Get Things Done!

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

Here the Psalmist tells us how to HONOR the Lord every time we come into His presence. He says we are to enter the gates of heaven with THANKSGIVING, and we are to enter the very courtroom of the Lord with PRAISE! Afterward we are to keep Thanking Him and Praising His Name the whole time we’re in His presence.

When I read this Psalm I ALWAYS think, WOW! “HONOR Is The Way To Get Things Done!” All of us are created in the image of God. If God demands HONOR through Thanksgiving and Praise, couldn’t it be said that all humans are blessed when they hear good words said about them by friends and loved ones? Seriously, isn’t it better to bless people than it is to curse people? Or isn’t it better to just be nice to others instead of having an old “stick in the mud” attitude when you walk in the door. And when we do HONOR others, aren’t they more inclined to offer their help when we are in need? It’s obvious that Thanksgiving and Praise light God’s world up a little more than it was before we walked in HONORING Him. Because, “HONOR Is The Way To Get Things Done!”

Dear Jesus,

This AM I’m blessed to tell You that without You I’m lost. I’m helpless and hopeless and a mess without You! It’s because of You that I’m not any of those things! I praise and thank You today that You are my all in all! Amen
