Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
Judah was perhaps wondering why the people’s prayers were not being answered. God let them know that His arm was long enough to save them, and His ear could hear any cry they cried, but that their sins had separated them from Him.
At different times in my life I have carried something in my heart that wasn’t right toward someone else. In those times, I’ve tried to pray and heard nothing back in response from our Lord. I don’t know if you’ve ever prayed and felt like your prayers were bouncing off the ceiling, but I sure have. It’s in those times when I check my heart and attitudes. Inevitably, I remember something I’m harboring against someone and am then reminded of the words of Jesus when he said, “And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” (Mk. 11:25). Almost immediately when I make things right, I find the heavenly communication lines open up again. Today, check your heart. It’s not the Lord who’s reach is limited, nor His hearing that has grown deaf. NO! In fact, “He Has NO Limitations!
Once again, this AM I invite You to search my heart to see if there’s anything that is clogging up the communication lines between You and me. I need You every minute of my life. Amen
