He Has No Foolishness Or Weakness In Him

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

1 Corinthians 1:25

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

O-bservation:

As the Apostle Paul opened his first letter to the Church at Corinth, he let the young church know that the Jews were looking for signs and the Greeks were looking for wisdom. Paul said that we preach that Jesus was crucified on our behalf, which “speaks of weakness” and is thus a hindrance to Jews changing their minds. Furthermore, it is complete foolishness to Greeks. Paul then stated that the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

A-pplication:

I don’t want anyone to be thrown off by Paul’s words. He was putting things in perspective to folks who had not thoroughly thought it through. If you continue to read all of the Apostle’s writings, you will quickly see that Paul, like you and I, believed “He Has No Weakness Or Foolishness In Him” when speaking of our great God. Our God is all-knowing, and He is all-powerful, and He is all everywhere at the same time. But if He had a weak point, it would be stronger than all of the human strength put together. If He had a lack of information in some small area of concern, it would still be wiser than all of humankind’s wisdom put together. We serve the one true and wise God. “He Has No Foolishness Or Weakness In Him” WHATSOEVER!!!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

This AM, I am so grateful that indeed, I do serve and worship the ONLY true and wise God. With Your help, I will stay strong until you call me home someday. Amen
