S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
In this the 19th chapter of John’s Revelation, we are given a picture of Jesus Christ the Lord. He is returning from heaven mounted on a white horse with the armies of heaven following in close behind Him riding on white horses as well. On his robe and on His thigh, Jesus has written, “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
We “Followers of Jesus” know when we read in this verse that Jesus has on His robe and on His thigh written the words KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, that “He Always Has Been And Always Will Be.” John was seeing a vision of the future Battle Of Armageddon, but most of those who believe in Jesus know he really is the “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” To be honest, I would never have followed Jesus as a young man had I not believed there wasn’t any other legitimate options. Trust me I studied comparative religions. Yes I had to follow Jesus by faith and still do; however, He makes TOO much sense not to follow Him. I could never follow a piece of wood or stone, and certainly nothing humans can make with their own hands. Jesus was and is real. But more than that, He Is The KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS! He Always Has Been And Always Will Be.
I need You and only You again this AM. You are the only true and wise God, and because of that I worship You as MY God. It is my honor to worship THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Amen
