Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
God is reminding the Hebrew Christians that He will not forget the kindness they had done for people less fortunate than they in other places. There is the sense when you read this that, “God Knows The Good You Have Done!”
Have you ever felt that lots of other people have been rewarded for their good works more than you? If we’re not careful we can find ourselves questioning God and asking, “What About ME?” But the truth is, “God Knows The Good You Have Done!” I firmly believe God is no respecter of people. He knows our address. He knows our name and He knows what we’re thinking right now! When Jesus told Peter that he would one day die for Christ, Peter looked at John and said to Jesus, “What about him?” In other words, “Does he have to do anything as tough as I’m doing?” Jesus said, “What is that to you Peter?” In other words, “That’s none of your business.” It’s imperative that we keep our eyes on Jesus and do what we can to follow His lead, because “God Knows The Good You Have Done.”
There have been times I have felt that You had forgotten me. How wrong I was back then. I know You love me Lord, but You know what’s best for me in any situation. Help me to keep on following Your lead. Amen
