Here’s your 90 second AM devotional!
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.
Here the Apostle reminds all “Followers Of Jesus” that we are “Faith People,” and that our judgment calls can’t always be based on what is obvious to the naked eye. But somehow we must press through the natural realm and into the world of the Supernatural. He says we must see what isn’t there, because that which can be seen is temporary but that which cannot be seen is eternal.
“Followers of Christ” in Third World countries appear to operate much better in the Supernatural world than they do in the material world, maybe because they have very little in the way of material possessions. Consequently, the unseen world of faith and the Supernatural is very appealing to them. It’s natural then, for them to operate in the Supernatural. When you feel like you have too much temporary stuff to lose, faith is often times checked at the door, and unless it’s factual and proven it’s not valued. However, Scripture talks about a very wealthy man by the name of Abraham who cared little for material things. He used his … “Eyes Of Faith” to look for a city whose builder and maker is God. Today I challenge you to trust your … “Eyes Of Faith!”
This AM I ask You to take me on a journey into the Supernatural with “Eyes Of Faith.” Amen
