Don’t Quit Until You Have Something Better
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
Ecclesiastes 7:18
It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.
O-bservation:
What a directive from the wise man. He very clearly states that when it comes to change of any kind, make sure the deal is signed, sealed, and delivered before you walk away from the sure thing you already have.
A-pplication:
There’s not a chance that I could count on two hands the number of people who have disobeyed this wise man’s counsel. I’m talking about people who have come to see me after they missed it, just this year alone! And it happens every year!! Nine times out of ten, the story goes like this, “I felt a change was coming, and so I quit my job and nothing else has opened up.” What was their mistake? They forgot this wise man’s counsel. So here’s what I tell people. When you feel change is coming, wait for the open door. When it’s time for change the door will open. If the door doesn’t open … “Don’t Quit Until You Have Something Better!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
I’m so thankful that through years You’ve always opened the door to my next adventure with You. Amen

Thank you, Jesus and he is the way the truth and the light of the World: I will walk in this light, because he lights the path for me to walk in. So, when this door opens I will run in and be glad and celebrate his love for me!
