Always Give YOUR Testimony
S. O. A. P.
Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
S-cripture:
John 20:18
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.
O-bservation:
Of all the disciples who had walked with Jesus for 3 1/2 years, He chose to reveal Himself to Mary Magdalene first. As soon as she encountered Jesus following His resurrection, she immediately went to where the other disciples were and said, “I have seen the Lord!”
A-pplication:
If Mary Magdalene was like most women of Jewish decent at that time in history, she had little to no formal education. In fact, that was the lot of most women of any religion at that time in history. Why is this important? I have observed through the years that many “Jesus Followers” fail to promote the “Good News” because they feel like they lack information and are concerned that they would not be good defenders of the faith if pressed to do so. But the truth is, Jesus isn’t looking for any of us to defend the faith as much as He longs for all of us to just SHARE our faith. It didn’t matter if she was uneducated or not, she wanted her friends to know that she had seen the Lord! What she did was give them her testimony! The next time you’re with someone who needs faith, just “Give Them YOUR Testimony!”
P-rayer:
Dear Jesus,
This AM, as I leave my home once again, help me to go forward with my light shining brightly. Thanks for MY testimony! Amen

Thank you so much for this. I have always struggled to share the good news of Jesus with my surrounding. And I have spent years feeling guilty because of that. I just did not know how to do it. Knowing that I have so much to share, this is such a good idea that I’ve never really thought about. Thank you again for doing what you do.
