If The King Can Trust Him

S. O. A. P.

Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!

S-cripture:

Psalm 21:7

For the king trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of the Most High he will not be shaken.

O-bservation:

King David gratefully boasts here of the unfailing love of the Most High. Of course, he was speaking of the Lord God Almighty. He didn’t write in any way that he wasn’t sure if God existed, but rather with bold confidence, he said, “The King trusts in the Lord.” Because of his great trust in God, David said he would NOT be shaken.

A-pplication:

How many folks, including bankers, lawyers, doctors, insurance agents, stockbrokers, teachers, loan hacks, IT specialists, auto mechanics, contractors, electricians, plumbers, handypeople, painters, lawn maintenance personnel, and spiritual leaders, (hope I didn’t leave anyone significant out), have let you down in the past? I was one of the people that raised both hands and a foot to that question. With that in mind, here’s the king who was the leading king in Judeo/Christian history, David, who I’m sure had been let down more than you and me put together. He said that there is someone whom he had learned to TRUST without question. The someone David was speaking about is the same Lord I worship today.  Now here’s what I want to say. Jesus has heard and answered every prayer ever made to Him. He has come through time and again, and when you think He won’t, He does. And He does it over and over again. With that said, “If The King Can Trust Him,” YOU can too!

P-rayer:

Dear Jesus,

I’m so grateful this AM that I can trust You completely. I’ve never once experienced You letting me down. I’ll keep right on believing. Amen
