Here’s Your 90 second AM Devotional!
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The book of Revelation is largely supposition. I say this because there are hundreds of different theological positions on every chapter in the book. But here, John the Revelator saw the devil thrown into the lake of fire forever. When this happens in the future, all of us will be able to say, “Finally, JUSTICE For ALL!”
This word JUSTICE is in our daily news. Think about the injustices that you perhaps have faced. In our society, those include issues like preferring one race over another (RACISM), or selling women and men for sexual pleasure (SEX TRAFFICKING), or the widening gap between the haves and the have nots (FINANCIAL INEQUALITY). Of course, there are so many more issues being brought to light in our society. In my country most folks want to speak of politics immediately, but I’d rather unveil the perpetrator of all of it! It’s satan himself. The devil instigates all injustices that occur within a society anywhere on the globe. You can blame humankind, of course, but in the end, Jesus said humans will either worship Him or humans will worship money. He said, “No one can serve both.” So there you have it. The question remains, “Who will you serve?” When an individual chooses Jesus, for the first time in his or her life, they will begin to treat their fellow humans properly. Then that person can say for himself or herself, “Finally, JUSTICE For ALL!”
I can’t change the whole world, but with Your help, I can help change MY world. It starts with me knowing You. When I really know and serve You, I treat my fellow humans right. Amen
